Nisha Patel

Campaigns, Marketing and Communications Support

Nisha Patel is the Campaigns, Marketing and Communications Assistant at Learning and Work Institute and was employed through the Jobs Growth Wales Scheme in September 2014. Her role involves the planning and delivery of campaigns such as the Inspire! Awards, Adult Learners’ Week and Skills for Work Week. She also assists the the team at events, conferences and meetings and delivers various aspects of communications, such as social media platforms. She enjoys being a part of the team and is thrilled to be involved.

Nisha has completed an Apprenticeship in Business Administration with the view to further benefit her role within the team to further expand her knowledge, skills and career prospects. She also graduated with BSC Criminology and Sociology and has had experience in areas such as events, administration, communications, social media/website maintenance and radio work support through prior role at Diverse Cymru. Nisha also volunteered for 2 years at Victim Support providing practical and emotional support to Victims of Anti Social Behaviour and Hate Crime.

Outside of work Nisha enjoys dance, cooking/baking, films, blogging, outdoor activities and photography.
