Employability and Skills: during and after the crisis
Wednesday, 25 November 2020
On-line | 10am – 1pm
The pandemic has created an unprecedented jobs crisis and is driving a new urgency to provide employability and skills support for young people and adults. There is a renewed focus on supporting people to find work, offering retraining opportunities, and preventing a generation of young people facing long term unemployment in their futures. Now more than ever employability and skills is centre stage in the public policy debate.
Our annual Employability and Skills Convention is a key event for the sector in Wales and will bring together policy-makers, practitioners, and stakeholders to consider the Welsh and UK Government response to the crisis, what the priorities should be, and what needs to happen next.
