The 2020 Inspire! Adult Learning Awards are now open for entries. We welcome nominations for individuals, families, community projects and organisations in Wales who have shown outstanding passion, commitment and drive to improve themselves, their community or workplace through learning.

The awards are co-ordinated by Learning and Work Institute in partnership with Welsh Government and other supporters.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for people, projects and organisations whose learning achievements will inspire others to return to or take up learning, people who have improved their lives and /or the lives of others and gained a positive or life changing experience from adult learning.

Submitting your nomination

Before you start your nomination, carefully read through our categories and guidance to ensure that you and your nominee meet the full criteria.

Online: The easiest and quickest way to submit your form is by completing and submitting our online nomination form

By email or post: Download the documents below and email your completed nomination to [email protected] or send it by post to: Inspire! Nominations, Learning and Work Institute, 3rd Floor, 33 – 35 Cathedral Road, Cardiff CF11 9HB

Deadline for nominations: 31 January 2020

Please note: the deadline will not be extended, so please allow yourself enough time to complete your nomination.

2019 Adult Learner of the Year: Andrea Garvey
