Mid-life career review
As part of our ongoing commitment to improve career progression, and to support the Extended Working Life agenda, our Mid-life Career Review Programme developed a range of ways to offer career/life reviews for people aged between 45 and 64. Over 3,000 adults took part in reviews across England, covering employment, training, caring and health, and were empowered to consider options for work and developing skills.
The Government will be incorporating lessons learned from our Mid-life Career Review Pilots and will integrate the ‘50+ delivery model’ into existing partner practice, to ensure older workers can access an in-depth career review for the first time.
A wide range of resources are also available to help practitioners and providers offering career reviews to people in mid-life.
