The Welsh Government is currently consulting on how the post compulsory sector in Wales is regulated and governed. They are proposing to create a new body (the Tertiary Education and Research Council) which will cover everything from higher education, further education, work-based learning providers and ACL. During this consultation it is important that the voice of learners is heard – and especially the voices of learners in adult and community learning. As we know they are often the learners who face the most significant barriers and challenges and whose voice is often not heard.
The Welsh Government want to hear from learners in adult and community learning and are organising two learner voice events:
Quay Hotel and Spa, Deganwy
Motorpoint Arena, Cardiff
We would be really grateful if you were willing to sign up to take part as an adult learner. We need your stories to be told and your voice to be heard.
Learners can sign up by emailing: [email protected]
