A Toolkit for Practitioners in Wales

The purpose of this resource is to enable schools and post-16 learning providers to reflect on their engagement with the Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities and to support better planning for more effective inclusion and access to learning opportunities.

This resource has been developed through discussions with learners from Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities and organisations which support them.

Information and case studies have been sourced from across Wales and further afield.

There are links to video, audio and written case study material to illustrate how projects and organisations are delivering effective learning opportunities. This toolkit is a starting point for further conversations, partnership work and action to improve the level of engagement, understanding and success of Gypsies, Roma and Travellers in adult learning.
