Taith is a new programme enabling people in Wales to study, train, volunteer and work all over the world, while allowing organisations in Wales to invite international partners and learners to do the same here in Wales.

It will create opportunities to broaden horizons, experience new ways of life, and bring back lessons to share with people at home. It means that Wales and its international partners can continue to benefit from exchanges in a similar way to the opportunities that flowed from Erasmus+, both in Europe and further afield.

We want to maximise the opportunities for the adult learning sector and work with you to provide support to make the most of opportunities within Taith.

This first funding call – Pathway 1: Mobilities – will seek to fund outward and inward exchanges of learners, volunteers and staff, both from and to Wales. Opportunities will range in length from 3 days to 12 months. Physical, virtual, and blended options will all be eligible for funding.

If you would like further information, advice and support please do get in touch – taithenquiries@learningandwork.org.uk.

We can provide some links and support to potential organisations to partner in Europe and Internationally and we’ll be setting up opportunities to link and provide more discussion on how the Taith programme might work for you.

You can find further information on eligibility and assessment criteria for the funding as well as the qualitative questions that will be contained in the application form to help you to prepare your bid on the Taith website.

The online application form is now available through the Taith website. On the website you can also find the Programme Guide – step-by-step guide and technical video to help you with your application.
