Taith is a new programme enabling people in Wales to study, train, volunteer, and work all over the world, while allowing organisations in Wales to invite international partners and learners to do the same here in Wales.
Learning and Work Institute and Adult Learning Wales | Addysg Oedolion Cymru are the lead Sector Organising bodies for adult learning.
Taith Pathway 1 adult education projects can focus on outward and inward exchanges and visits. Projects can provide physical visits and virtual exchanges, and provides opportunities for learners to have enriching cultural, travel and learning experiences and for the adult education workforce to experience meaningful staff development.
Taith projects can build connections, share and exchange knowledge globally and support a vibrant lifelong learning sector in Wales. Widening access and supporting diverse groups of people to experience international exchange and visits is a priority for Taith.
The adult education sector is wide and far reaching and the programme offers opportunities for a range of organisations who support and provide learning opportunities for adults. You might be working locally, regionally, or nationally. You may be working in the community, in the workplace, in schools, in cultural or sporting environments.
We want to maximise the opportunities for the adult learning sector and work with you to provide support to make the most of opportunities within Taith.
